Below are the award winners for the 2nd Annual Big Daddy 10K held at Fort Eustis, VA. The race was held on Saturday morning, January 23, 2010 sponsored by the Army Aviation Association of America, Stonewall Jackson The race was conducted and results were generated by the Peninsula Track Club. Conditions at race time were cold with a slight breeze after the start of the race, but thankfully sunny with a temperature at the start The race almost tripled in size with 120 runners entered the 10K (up from 44 in 2009) with 107 completing the race (up from 41 in 2009). Below are the award winners for the 6th Annual Grafton Cold F-F-Feet 5K, a cross country road race held on the trails around Grafton High School in York County. The race was held on Saturday morning, February 20, This race was run under almost perfect running conditions. It was a mildly cold but clear day, sunny with a breeze and temperatures in the mid-upper 40s. The course was made up of 2 loops on the cross country trails around and adjacent to the Grafton High School athletic fields finishing at the school. The course was in good shape, only slightly muddy after all the recent rain and snow. The course was accuratly measured, but is not USATF certified. 192 runners entered the 5K (up from 150 in 2009) with 150 runners completing the course (up from 135 in 2009). |

Important to get your applications in as soon as feasible Below are the award winners for the 31th Annual Colonial Half Marathon and 5K Run held in Williamsburg on Sunday afternoon, February 28, 2010. In the results below, first are the top 10 overall runners in the Half Marathon, top 3 Masters and the top 3 in each age group. After that are the 5K results with the Top 3 Overall and Top 3 in each age group The Colonial Half Marathon has been listed by Runners' World as one of the top 100 road races in the United States. The half marathon course which is somewhat hilly starts on the Campus of William & Mary, followed the Carter's Grove Country Road to a loop in Kings Mill, and returned along the Country Road to finish in William & Mary Hall. The 5K run wound around the campus of William & Mary and also finished in William & Unlike last year when runners experienced sun, clouds, rain and snow, conditions today were perfect for racing; partly cloudy with temperatures in the 50s. Below are the award winners for the 2nd Annual T. S. Gates Memorial 5K. Awards went to the top 3 male and female runners overall and the top 3 in each age group. The race was held on Saturday morning, April 17, 2010 and was organized to raise awareness for Aplastic Anemia, Paroxsymal Nocturnal Hemoflobinuria and Myelodysplastic Syndrome. The race itself was conducted by the Peninsula Track Club. 104 runners entered the 5K race with 90 completing the course. The race started at Poquoson High School, followed a loop course on Odd Road and finished at the Poquoson Elementary School. The course is not USATF certified. | Riverside Rehab 5 k by the bay | Below are the award winners for the 20th Annual Riverside Rehab 5K by the Bay held at the Riverside Rehabilitation Institute in Newport News on Saturday morning, May 8, 2010. The race was organized by the Riverside The race started at Petersen's Yacht Basin and followed Chesapeake Ave with a turnaround trough the neighborhood near the Newport News/Hampton City Line. The finish was back at the Riverside Rehab facility. Conditions at race time were sunny, breezy and somewhat humid with 282 runners entered the 5K (up from 246 in 2009) with 248 runners One course age group was set by 86 year old Robert S. White of Hampton. White was an inductee into the Peninsula Road Racing Hall of Fame in January of 2010 and now holds the course record for men aged 85-89 at the 5K by the Bay. |

| Yorktown Freedom Run 5k | Below are the award winners for the 2010 Yorktown Freedom Run 5K held on A record for the Yorktown Freedom Run Memorial Day course of 388 runners entered the 5K (up from 297 in 2009) with 368 runners completing the 5K (up from 280 in 2009). The 5K race course is not certified, but was accurately measured and was followed correctly by the runners. Ryan Carroll, 27 of Portsmouth won the event with a time of 16:00. 2nd and 3rd were Kevin White, 42 of Virginia Beach (17:22) and John Piggott, 45 of Williamsburg (17:47). However, White and Piggott were awarded 1st Similarkly, Jennifer Quarles, 38 of Williamsburg was the 1st woman Of special note was the effort by Jim Johnson, 84 of Hampton who (as the oldest runner) completed the course and came in as 3rd is his age group Prize money was awarded to the top 3 eligible runners overall ($100, $50, $25), and top 3 masters runners (40+) ($100, $50, $25). |

| Yorktwn 4 July 8K | Below are the award winners for the 2nd Annual Yorktown Independence Day 8K Run held on the Tour Roads of the historic Yorktown Battlefield in The 8K race course starts on the Tour Roads near the Route 17 overpass, heads in the direction of George Washington's Headquarters, then follows 401 runners entered the 8K (down from 470 in 2009) with 369 runners completing the 8K (down from 439 in 2009) within the one and a half hour time limit. | Smithfield Hog Jog 5K | Below are the award winners for the 9th Annual Smithfield Hog Jog 5K held in Smithfield, VA on Saturday morning, October 9, 2010. | Noland Trail Mariner's Museum 5k, 10k | Below are the award winners for the 10th Annual Mariners' Museum 10K on the Noland Trail and the 1st Annual Mariners' Museum 5K held on Saturday Conditions at race time were sunny and windy with temps in the 50s. The Noland Trail course starts at the Mariners' Museum on Museum Drive, runs down towards River Road before doubling back to enter the Noland Trail near the Museum Administration building. The 10K then completes the circuit of the Noland Trail, across Lion's Bridge and finally finishing in front of the Museum. | Making a difference 8K & 3K | Below are the award winners for the 2nd Annual Making a Difference 8K Run & 3K Run/Walk held at the Mariners' Museum in Newport News, VA on Finish line and results services were provided by the Peninsula Track Club. Both courses started near the Peninsula Fine Arts Center, ran towards Lion's Bridge, with the 3K turnaround just after the bridge.
