George Nelsen wants you to know: Meet an Olympian! Next speaker at the 21 February 2012 Meeting will be Francena McCrory who qualified for the 2012 Olympic Trials in the 400 meters. Francena graduated from Bethel High School and Hampton University.

It facilitates the gifting of marathon, half marathon, and triathlon finishers’ medals from runners to children and adults dealing with chronic or debilitating illnesses and have demonstrated similar mettle, or courage in bravely facing these challenges.Want to volunteer but don't know how you can help?

Volunteer for races, events, and socials:

To volunteer to work a race, simply call the PTC Hot-Line at 757-342 6739. After the message, leave your name, phone number and the name of the race. The PTC race list is found under the link Races to the left. You WILL NOT be called back. Just show up on race day one hour prior to race start. You'll enjoy the volunteer experience, earn PTC Grand Prix points, get a race discount pass, and - usually - a race T-shirt.
